If someone has shown you a SpiderX Defense certificate, you can confirm here that we issued it and that it is still valid. You will need the certificate number and the holder’s surname — both are printed on the certificate.
We ask for the surname as well as the number so that nobody can work through certificate numbers to build a list of our students. It also means we never publish anyone’s name on this page.
This check runs entirely in your browser. We do not record who checked, or what they checked.
That does not automatically mean it is fake. A holder may have chosen not to have a public verification record — that is their right, and their certificate is still valid. It may also simply be a typo in the number.

A SpiderX Defense certificate confirms that the named person passed our supervised examination on the stated date. It is issued by a private company.
It is not a government licence, not a university qualification, and not a credential from a certification body such as CompTIA, EC-Council or ISC². It makes no claim about employment or salary.

Four and a half hours, watched live over video by the examiner with full screen share. Identity checked against photo ID. No unsupervised sitting exists.
They investigated a real log file, analysed email headers, assessed a web application by hand, and rated what they found. Multiple choice is only 30% of it.
Each part carries its own minimum. A strong multiple-choice score cannot carry a failed practical. Overall pass mark is 70%.
